Overview

Amazon is hiring a Real Estate Transaction Manager to oversee property transactions in Egypt. You'll manage acquisitions, negotiations, and strategic initiatives in commercial real estate. This role requires in-depth knowledge of planning law and strong communication skills in Arabic and English.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a strong background in real estate transactions, particularly in commercial real estate, with a focus on dark stores and warehousing. Your experience includes managing multiple work streams and high-volume acquisitions, demonstrating your ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English, allowing you to effectively engage with various stakeholders.

You hold a Bachelor's Degree and ideally an MBA from a reputable university, along with membership in the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS). Your analytical skills are top-notch, enabling you to use data to drive decisions in a business context. You have a proven track record of building successful partnerships with cross-functional leadership to execute strategic initiatives and develop roadmaps.

Desirable

Experience in large-scale project-driven workloads is a plus, as is familiarity with planning law and development projects. Your problem-solving abilities and mathematical skills will be essential in navigating complex negotiations and due diligence processes.

What you'll do

As the Real Estate Transaction Manager, you will support the Africa, Middle East & Turkey (AMET) Real Estate team in completing property transactions efficiently. Your responsibilities will include managing negotiations with landlords, agents, and lawyers, ensuring that all transactions align with Amazon's strategic goals. You will be responsible for sourcing new properties throughout Egypt to facilitate the growth and development of the operational network.

You will implement a full due diligence process for each transaction, reporting results to the senior leadership team. Your role will require you to manage a large number of work streams, ensuring timely completion of acquisitions, renewals, expansions, terminations, and reconfigurations of quick commerce and warehouse spaces. You will collaborate closely with various internal and external stakeholders to drive successful outcomes.
