Who you are

You have a strong background in RF systems analysis and modeling, with experience in implementing and maintaining link budget and RF system models for various use cases. You enjoy working with hardware and firmware teams to align real-world behavior with theoretical models, and you have a knack for writing analysis and link model code. Your expertise in tools like Python and MATLAB allows you to build and maintain simulation scripts and tooling effectively. You thrive in collaborative environments, partnering with antenna, RFIC, and baseband teams to ensure successful project outcomes.

Desirable

Experience with phased arrays and satellite communication systems is a plus. Familiarity with automated analysis and reporting pipelines will help you excel in this role. You are comfortable running sensitivity and corner analyses to understand performance margins and drive design tradeoffs. A passion for closing the digital divide through innovative technology solutions is essential.

What you'll do

In this role, you will implement and maintain link budget and RF system models for key use cases, including mobility, fixed, enterprise, and gateway applications. You will run parametric studies and conduct sensitivity analyses to understand performance margins, helping to define RF system KPIs and integrate them into automated analysis/reporting pipelines. You will build and maintain simulation scripts and tooling using Python, MATLAB, SystemVue, and ADS to support architecture reviews. Your collaboration with antenna, RFIC, and baseband teams will be crucial in ensuring that the RF systems meet performance expectations and align with project goals.
