Who you are
You have over 5 years of experience in safety management, particularly in environments similar to External Fulfillment Centers and Inbound Cross Docks. Your background includes leading safety initiatives and implementing effective risk management strategies. You possess a strong understanding of EHS regulations and have experience conducting risk assessments and audits. Your ability to communicate effectively in both Japanese and English allows you to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
You are skilled in developing and executing safety plans that align with corporate policies and local regulations. Your experience includes training staff on safety protocols and ensuring compliance with legal requirements. You have a proactive approach to identifying potential hazards and implementing corrective actions to mitigate risks. Your leadership skills enable you to manage a team effectively, fostering a culture of safety and accountability.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the development and execution of safety plans for the External Fulfillment Center and Inbound Cross Dock operations. You will conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement preventive measures to ensure a safe working environment. Your responsibilities will include investigating incidents, analyzing root causes, and developing corrective action plans to prevent future occurrences.
You will collaborate with various departments to ensure compliance with Amazon's Global Policy and local safety regulations. This includes creating and maintaining safety documentation and procedures, as well as conducting regular audits to assess compliance. You will also be responsible for training employees on safety practices and promoting a culture of safety throughout the organization.
Your role will involve building partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance safety initiatives and share best practices. You will monitor safety performance metrics and report findings to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement. Your leadership will be crucial in driving safety initiatives and ensuring that all employees can work in a safe and secure environment.
