Who you are

You have extensive experience in workplace health and safety management, particularly in logistics or warehouse environments. Your ability to lead safety initiatives and foster a culture of safety is paramount. You excel in risk assessment and have a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating potential hazards. Your strong communication skills enable you to collaborate effectively with various departments and external partners to ensure compliance with safety regulations.

You are adept at developing and implementing safety training programs and conducting audits to ensure adherence to safety standards. Your experience includes creating safety policies and procedures that align with both local and global safety regulations. You understand the importance of data-driven decision-making in enhancing workplace safety and are comfortable using metrics to track safety performance.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the safety initiatives at the Inbound Cross Dock facility, focusing on creating a safe working environment for all employees. You will develop and implement annual safety goals and plans, conduct risk assessments, and perform internal audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations. You will also be responsible for investigating accidents, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions to prevent future incidents.

You will collaborate with various departments to promote a culture of safety and ensure that all employees are trained in safety protocols. Your role will involve regular communication with global teams to share best practices and support safety initiatives across the organization. You will also participate in safety committees and ensure that safety policies are maintained and updated as necessary.
