What you'll do

In this role, you will lead safety initiatives at the Inbound Cross Dock facility, ensuring that safety protocols are adhered to and continuously improved. You will develop annual safety goals and plans, conduct risk assessments, and perform internal audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations. You will also be responsible for investigating incidents, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences. Collaborating with various departments, you will create and deliver training programs to educate employees on safety practices and procedures. Additionally, you will support the implementation of Amazon's global safety policies and procedures, adapting them to meet local requirements. Your role will involve regular communication with stakeholders to share best practices and promote a culture of safety across the organization.
