You have extensive experience in workplace health and safety management, particularly in logistics or warehouse environments. Your ability to lead safety initiatives and foster a culture of safety is paramount. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to collaborate with various departments and external partners effectively. What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the safety initiatives at the Inbound Cross Dock, focusing on creating a robust safety culture. You will develop and implement annual safety goals and plans, including training, audits, and risk assessments. When incidents occur, you will gather information, investigate causes, and develop corrective actions to prevent future occurrences. You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining safety procedures in line with Amazon's global policies and local regulations. Collaborating with various stakeholders, you will support safety activities across multiple sites and ensure compliance with safety standards. Your role will involve regular travel to Amazon facilities and collaboration with external partners to enhance safety practices.
