Who you are

You have over 5 years of experience in sales management, particularly within the Energy & Utilities sector, and you thrive in environments where visionary leadership meets growth ambition. Your operational excellence and deep industry insight enable you to inspire high-performing teams and drive transformative deals. You are passionate about building businesses and helping customers accelerate their digital transformations at scale.

You possess a strong understanding of cloud technologies, particularly AWS, and how they can be leveraged to innovate within the Energy & Utilities industry. Your ability to coach and mentor senior sales professionals fosters a culture of customer obsession, accountability, and continuous improvement within your team. You are adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve complex business and technical challenges.

Desirable

Experience in leading sales teams across multiple countries in the EMEA region is a plus. Familiarity with Agentic AI and its applications in the Energy & Utilities sector will set you apart. You are data-driven and comfortable using metrics to identify transformational opportunities and replicate success through scalable plays and mechanisms.

What you'll do

As a Senior Sales Manager at AWS, you will lead and develop a team of experienced account managers within the Energy & Utilities Industry Business Unit. You will own the go-to-market strategy and execution for strategic accounts, driving revenue growth and setting the vision for how AWS partners with energy leaders to reshape the industry. You will report to the EMEA Sales Director and collaborate closely with global stakeholders to deliver on bold growth ambitions.

Your responsibilities will include coaching and mentoring your team, fostering a culture of excellence, and ensuring that your team is equipped to meet customer needs effectively. You will partner with cross-functional teams, including Business Development, Solutions Architecture, Partner Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success, to address customers' most complex challenges.

You will identify transformational opportunities within the Energy & Utilities sector, de-risk execution, and replicate successful strategies across your accounts. Your role will also involve using data and metrics to drive decision-making and ensure that your team achieves the best results for customers.
