You are adept at strategic business development, having successfully led sales motions from inception to closure. Your ability to collaborate with technical teams, such as Cloud Architects and Engagement Managers, enables you to align customer needs with AWS capabilities. You possess strong analytical skills, allowing you to identify market trends and customer requirements that inform your sales strategy.

Your communication skills are exceptional, enabling you to articulate complex technical concepts in a way that resonates with diverse audiences. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and thrive on the challenge of meeting and exceeding sales targets. You are passionate about technology and its potential to transform businesses, particularly in the public sector.

Desirable

Experience with AI and generative AI technologies is a plus, as is familiarity with digital transformation initiatives in the public sector. A background in consulting or professional services will enhance your ability to engage with clients effectively.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the AWS Professional Services sales motion for the Public Sector in Australia and New Zealand. Your primary responsibility will be to engage and win new customers, driving transformative projects that leverage AWS cloud solutions. You will work closely with a diverse team of technical experts to understand customer needs and define business outcomes that align with AWS capabilities.

You will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies that resonate with public sector clients, ensuring that you effectively communicate the value of AWS Professional Services. Your role will involve identifying opportunities for technology strategy, migration, and modernization, as well as data-driven solutions that enhance customer success.

Collaboration is key in this position, as you will partner with Cloud Architects and Delivery Consultants to ensure seamless project execution. You will also engage in ongoing relationship management, ensuring that clients receive the support they need to achieve their digital transformation goals.
