What you'll do

As a Senior Operations Manager at Amazon, you will be responsible for all aspects of operations within a large facility. You will lead a team of Operations and Area Managers, coaching and mentoring them to achieve operational excellence. Your role will involve strategic responsibilities, including owning the operational budget and delivering on safety, productivity, and financial goals. You will engage in long-term planning, ensuring that labor planning and rate forecasting align with operational needs.

You will drive continuous improvement initiatives, optimizing processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Your leadership will be crucial in building a strong leadership bench strength within your team, ensuring that employees are engaged and motivated. You will serve as the face of the organization, representing Amazon to employees and the community, and will play a key role in shaping the culture of the operations facility.
