Who you are
You have a proven track record in enterprise sales, particularly within the public sector, and understand the unique challenges and opportunities that come with selling to government entities. Your consultative sales approach allows you to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, ensuring that you can effectively communicate the value of AI solutions to enhance government operations.
You are adept at developing and executing territory plans, identifying high-value opportunities, and prioritizing initiatives that align with government digital transformation goals. Your ability to navigate complex procurement processes and engage with various levels of government leadership is a key strength.
What you'll do
In this role, you will own and exceed revenue targets by winning new accounts and expanding relationships across Japan's central government ministries, agencies, and affiliated organizations. You will lead consultative sales processes with senior government stakeholders, including directors-general and bureau chiefs, to help them modernize operations and improve policy delivery.
You will be responsible for building and executing territory plans with a clear prioritization framework, identifying high-value opportunities across national ministries and inter-ministerial initiatives. Your efforts will contribute to establishing Anthropic's presence and credibility within Japan's public sector ecosystem, making a significant impact on the adoption of safe AI technology.
