Who you are
You are a seasoned Revenue Accounting professional with extensive experience in managing revenue accounting operations and financial reporting processes. You thrive in fast-paced environments and have a deep understanding of ASC 606 compliance, ensuring accurate revenue recognition. Your leadership capabilities enable you to guide teams effectively while maintaining a focus on detail and accuracy.
You possess strong technical accounting expertise, particularly in accounts receivable accounting and month-end close operations. Your analytical skills allow you to perform comprehensive AR reconciliations and aging analysis, ensuring that customer receivables are recorded accurately. You are proactive in developing key AR metrics for management reporting, contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.
What you'll do
In this role, you will manage daily revenue accounting operations, overseeing high-volume transaction processing and ensuring compliance with ASC 606. You will own the month-end revenue close process, reviewing and approving revenue-related account reconciliations and journal entries for revenue, deferred revenue, and unbilled receivables. Your responsibilities will also include leading quarterly CECL aging analysis to ensure consistent application of ASC 326.
You will collaborate closely with the AR & Collections Lead to develop key metrics that will inform management reporting. Your role is critical in enhancing the month-end close operations, ensuring that all processes are efficient and accurate. You will play a vital part in driving improvements in revenue accounting practices, contributing to the overall success of Anthropic's mission to create reliable and beneficial AI systems.
