Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in site reliability engineering or a related field, with a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices. Your expertise in AWS and Azure allows you to design and maintain scalable systems that support high availability and performance. You are proficient in Kubernetes, having managed multiple clusters and implemented best practices for container orchestration. Your experience with monitoring tools like Datadog enables you to provide insights and alerts that help maintain system reliability. You are a collaborative team player who enjoys working with cross-functional teams to drive improvements in system performance and reliability. You are committed to fostering a culture of reliability and continuous improvement within your team.

Desirable

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code is a plus, as is familiarity with compliance standards such as ISO27001 and SOC2. You have a proactive approach to problem-solving and are comfortable leading initiatives that enhance operational efficiency. Your communication skills allow you to effectively share knowledge and mentor junior team members, contributing to their growth and development.

What you'll do

As the founding SRE for India within the DevOps Platform Team, you will establish operating rhythms and guardrails that enhance reliability across hundreds of services. You will lead the implementation of best practices for managing over 30 Kubernetes clusters, ensuring that they operate efficiently and securely. Your role will involve collaborating closely with engineering teams to design, implement, and maintain a robust Internal Developer Platform that supports the software development lifecycle. You will leverage your expertise in AWS and Azure to optimize cloud resources and ensure compliance with industry standards. Additionally, you will utilize Datadog for monitoring and alerting, providing clear insights into system performance and availability. You will be responsible for driving initiatives that promote a DevOps culture, enabling teams to deliver code safely and efficiently.
