Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in engineering with experience in designing precision assembly and measurement processes. Your expertise includes research and development of new technologies that address complex assembly and automation challenges. You stay updated on technical trends and incorporate them into your work, ensuring high-quality outcomes in product delivery.
You possess the ability to mentor and provide direction to third-party machine and automation suppliers, acting as a technical leader on projects. Your collaborative nature allows you to organize cross-functional reviews effectively, ensuring that machine requirements and designs meet the necessary qualifications and capabilities.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing automated and semi-automated solutions based on sound engineering principles. You will develop new and improved processes through both theoretical and practical engineering applications. Your work will have a direct impact on the quality and delivery of Apple products, making your contributions vital to the company's success.
You will engage with machine suppliers for design reviews and create Requests for Quotation/Proposal (RFQ/RFPs) that document the design requirements of automated equipment. Your role will also involve keeping abreast of meaningful technical trends and developments, ensuring that your projects are aligned with the latest advancements in the field.
