Who you are

You have a solid background in CAD engineering, particularly in physical design verification flows. Your attention to detail allows you to see the importance of every aspect of the design process, ensuring high-quality outputs that meet rigorous standards. You thrive in collaborative environments, working alongside cross-functional teams to achieve common goals. Your experience includes developing and maintaining rule decks for design rule checks (DRC) and layout versus schematic (LVS) verifications, which are critical for chip design success. You are also familiar with machine learning and automation solutions, which you can leverage to enhance verification processes.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for architecting and developing physical design verification flows that support the design and manufacturing of Apple's next-generation processors. You will coordinate efforts to validate these flows, ensuring they meet the needs of custom checks and data generation. Collaborating closely with the custom digital, analog, and mixed-signal design teams, you will facilitate the chip design process and ensure seamless integration. Your work will involve coding custom PDV rule decks and improving existing methodologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the design verification process.
