Who you are

You have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree and over 10 years of relevant industry experience, particularly in CPU architecture. Your expertise in digital logic allows you to understand complex design verification processes, and you are comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure product excellence.

Your experience includes developing test plans and environments, where you have successfully created tests in assembly and C. You are adept at analyzing coverage to ensure comprehensive test case coverage, demonstrating your attention to detail and commitment to quality.

You possess strong programming skills in C and SystemVerilog, which you have utilized to develop checkers and transactors for design verification. Your ability to communicate effectively with architecture and RTL designers is key to your success in this role, as you work to verify the functional correctness of CPU designs.

What you'll do

In this role, you will own the verification of specific areas of functionality within CPU designs, collaborating closely with architecture and RTL designers. You will develop detailed test plans and create test environments that ensure the highest standards of functional correctness.

Your responsibilities will include developing tests in assembly and C, as well as creating coverage monitors to analyze and ensure that all test cases are covered. You will also be tasked with developing checkers and SystemVerilog or C-based transactors, which are essential for verifying the design.

You will play a critical role in the chip design effort, contributing to the delivery of groundbreaking Apple products that impact millions of customers.
