What you'll do

As a Senior DDR Design Engineer at Apple, you will be responsible for leading the design process from concept study through to silicon bring-up. You will perform detailed concept studies, providing insights into performance, gate count, and power for various digital designs. Your role will involve writing comprehensive design specifications and test plans, collaborating closely with architecture, circuit designers, and verification engineers to ensure alignment on project goals.

You will create high-quality RTL descriptions, including assertions, to support the design process. Your expertise in using formal tools and static checkers will be crucial in maintaining RTL quality and ensuring that designs meet stringent performance criteria. You will also drive functional and code coverage efforts, working diligently towards achieving timing closure for your designs.

Supporting silicon bring-up and conducting performance and power characterization will be key responsibilities in your role. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the silicon validation process, ensuring that the final product meets Apple's high standards for quality and performance.
