Who you are

You have a BS degree in a technical discipline and at least 10 years of relevant experience in digital design. Your background includes a strong focus on RTL design and verification, ensuring high-quality outputs that meet performance and power specifications. You are adept at collaborating with architecture and circuit design teams, providing detailed specifications and test plans that guide the design process. Your experience with silicon bring-up and characterization allows you to support the transition from design to production seamlessly.

You are familiar with using formal tools and static checkers to guarantee RTL quality, driving functional and code coverage for your designs. Your understanding of timing closure processes ensures that your designs meet stringent performance requirements. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with verification engineers to ensure bug-free first silicon and high-quality deliverables.

Desirable

Experience in low power design methodologies is a plus, as is familiarity with the latest DDR technologies. You are comfortable navigating complex design challenges and are motivated by the opportunity to contribute to products that impact millions of users.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for leading concept studies that define the direction of various digital designs, focusing on performance, gate count, and power efficiency. You will write detailed design specifications and test plans, collaborating closely with architecture and circuit design teams to ensure alignment on project goals. Your role will involve providing high-quality RTL descriptions, including assertions, to enhance the robustness of your designs.

You will utilize formal verification tools and static checkers to maintain RTL quality, ensuring that your designs are ready for silicon bring-up. Supporting design verification will be a key part of your responsibilities, as you work to ensure that the first silicon is free of bugs and meets all performance criteria. You will drive functional and code coverage efforts, ensuring that your designs are thoroughly tested and validated before production.
