You have a BS degree in a technical discipline and at least 3 years of relevant experience in DDR design. Your background includes a strong understanding of digital design principles and you are familiar with RTL description and verification processes. You are results-oriented and have a passion for solving complex challenges in a collaborative environment. You thrive in team settings and enjoy working closely with architecture, circuit designers, and verification engineers to deliver high-quality designs. Your experience with formal tools and static checkers ensures that you maintain high RTL quality standards. You are also knowledgeable about silicon bring-up and performance characterization, which are critical to the success of your designs.

What you'll do

As a DDR Design Engineer at Apple, you will be responsible for performing concept studies and providing direction regarding performance, gate count, and power for various digital designs. You will write detailed design specifications and test plans, collaborating closely with architecture and circuit design teams. Your role will involve creating high-quality RTL descriptions, including assertions, to ensure the integrity of your designs. You will utilize formal tools and static checkers to guarantee RTL quality and support design verification to ensure bug-free first silicon. Additionally, you will drive functional and code coverage as well as timing closure for your designs, playing a crucial role in the silicon bring-up process and performance characterization. Your contributions will directly impact the development of innovative products that delight millions of customers.
