Who you are
You are an experienced Design Verification Engineer with a strong background in pre-silicon verification methodologies. You have a mindset to break designs and are skilled in developing detailed test and coverage plans based on micro-architecture. Your ability to establish DV methodologies and develop verification environments is crucial for ensuring the production of fully functional first silicon.
You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working on challenges that no one has solved yet. Your experience includes developing verification plans for all features under your care, implementing these plans, and enabling regression for all features. You are detail-oriented and have a passion for crafting products that enrich people's lives.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for all phases of pre-silicon verification, including establishing DV methodology, test-plan development, and verification environment development. You will write tests, debug issues, and ensure coverage and sign-off for RTL freeze and tape-out. Your contributions will directly impact the quality of the silicon produced, ensuring that it meets the high standards expected at Apple.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable and portable verification environments, including components such as stimulus, checkers, assertions, and trackers. Your role will involve continuous improvement of verification processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. You will also be encouraged to innovate and propose new methodologies that can further enhance the verification process.
