Who you are
You are a driven and highly committed Design Verification Engineer with a passion for solving complex challenges. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with Digital and Analog Design engineers to craft innovative products that delight users. Your experience includes developing verification plans and methodologies, ensuring that designs are thoroughly tested and verified before silicon production.
You have a strong background in hardware description languages, particularly VHDL and Verilog, which you apply to create effective verification environments. Your skills in generating directed and constrained random tests allow you to run simulations and debug design issues efficiently. You understand the importance of functional coverage and are adept at analyzing coverage metrics to improve test environments.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for planning, building, and maintaining verification test bench components and environments. You will develop verification plans in coordination with design leads and architects, ensuring that all phases of pre-silicon verification are covered. Your responsibilities will include generating directed and constrained random tests, running simulations, and debugging design and environment issues.
You will create functional coverage points and analyze coverage to identify and target coverage holes. Crafting automated verification flows for block and chip-level verification will be a key part of your role, allowing you to streamline the verification process and enhance efficiency. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the verification process aligns with design goals and timelines.
