Job Description
Who you are
You are a driven and highly committed Design Verification Engineer with a strong background in mixed-signal designs. You have experience in all phases of pre-silicon verification, including establishing design verification methodologies and developing test plans. Your expertise in hardware description languages such as VHDL and Verilog, along with hardware verification languages like SystemVerilog, UVM, and OVM, sets you apart in this field.
You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with Digital and Analog Design engineers to ensure the highest quality in product development. Your ability to generate directed and constrained random tests, run simulations, and debug design and environment issues is essential for success in this role. You are detail-oriented and focused on building functional coverage points to analyze and improve test environments.
What you'll do
In this role, you will develop verification plans in coordination with design leads and architects, ensuring that all aspects of the design verification process are covered. You will be responsible for building and maintaining verification test bench components and environments, crafting automated verification flows for block and chip-level verification. Your work will directly contribute to the successful sign-off for RTL freeze and tape-out, enabling the delivery of high-quality silicon.
You will generate directed and constrained random tests, run simulations, and debug any design and environment issues that arise. Your role will also involve building functional coverage points and analyzing coverage to target any holes in the test environment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the verification process aligns with the overall product development goals.
