Who you are
You are an entry-level engineer with a strong foundation in design verification methodologies and a keen interest in hardware design. You have experience or coursework in hardware description languages, particularly SystemVerilog, and are eager to apply your knowledge in a practical setting. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy solving complex problems that contribute to innovative product development.
You possess a basic understanding of mixed-signal designs and are familiar with verification environments. Your analytical skills enable you to debug design and environment issues effectively, and you are motivated to learn and grow within a dynamic team. You are detail-oriented and committed to ensuring high-quality outcomes in your work.
What you'll do
In this role, you will develop verification plans in coordination with design leads and architects, ensuring that all phases of pre-silicon verification are executed efficiently. You will build and maintain verification test bench components and environments, generating directed and constrained random tests to validate designs. Running simulations and debugging design and environment issues will be key responsibilities, as will building functional coverage points and analyzing coverage to improve the test environment.
You will craft automated verification flows for block and chip-level verification, applying your knowledge of hardware verification languages and methodologies. Collaborating closely with Digital and Analog Design engineers, you will contribute to the successful delivery of high-quality silicon that meets Apple's rigorous standards. Your work will directly impact the development of products that delight millions of customers worldwide.
