Apple is hiring a SoC DFT Engineer to develop and implement DFT architecture for next-generation processors. You'll work with Python, Linux, and Verilog in Austin. This position requires a minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience.
Job Description
Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of relevant industry experience in semiconductor design, particularly in DFT solutions. You possess a keen eye for detail and a passion for crafting sophisticated solutions to complex challenges. Your experience includes developing and implementing DFT architecture, ensuring that every aspect of the design meets high standards of quality and efficiency.
You are proficient in Python and Linux, which you use to automate processes and improve workflows. Your familiarity with Verilog and VHDL allows you to effectively communicate with design teams and contribute to the verification of DFT implementations. You understand the importance of collaboration and thrive in a team-oriented environment, working closely with various engineering disciplines to achieve project goals.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for the complete DFT solution for design projects, which includes developing and implementing DFT architecture and infrastructure. You will collaborate with the design verification (DV) team to verify DFT implementations and implement engineering change orders (ECOs). Your work will involve generating structural test vectors and analyzing coverage to ensure that all aspects of the design are thoroughly tested.
You will also work with designers on static timing analysis (STA), physical design, power, and logical issues, ensuring that the final product meets performance and reliability standards. Additionally, you will collaborate with test engineers to bring up test vectors on silicon, running schedules and supporting multi-functional engineering efforts to deliver high-quality products to customers.
