Who you are
You have experience in digital design, particularly with RTL design, and a solid understanding of best practices for implementing digital logic. Your background equips you to tackle complex challenges and contribute creatively to the design process. You are familiar with the intricacies of analog and mixed-signal design, which enhances your ability to work effectively within the AMS Design Team at Apple.
You possess a strong foundation in Verilog and are adept at developing detailed specifications based on top-level requirements. Your ability to partition functions between hardware and firmware ensures efficient implementation, and you are comfortable performing unit-level testing on RTL functions. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working with systems teams to deliver high-quality designs.
What you'll do
As an AMS Digital Design Engineer, you will be involved in all phases of the design process, from concept study and architecture definition to design verification and silicon bring-up. You will implement functions using Verilog RTL according to specifications, ensuring that designs meet performance and power requirements. Your role will also include RTL synthesis, equivalence checking, and static timing analysis to validate your designs.
You will develop firmware to support design verification and automated test equipment environments, contributing to the overall success of the AMS Design Team. Additionally, you will support the design verification team by writing self-checking tests as required, ensuring that the final product meets Apple's high standards for quality and performance.
