Who you are

You have a strong background in embedded firmware development, particularly for wireless systems, and are familiar with System on a Chip (SoC) architectures. Your experience includes working with RF calibrations and signal processing algorithms, which are crucial for enabling wireless connectivity in products. You are comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams, including software and manufacturing, to ensure successful productization of silicon systems.

You possess a solid understanding of embedded Linux and have hands-on experience with C programming. Your technical skills allow you to craft and implement firmware that meets the high standards of performance and efficiency expected at Apple. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are eager to contribute to innovative wireless technologies that enhance user experiences.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be a core member of the Wireless SoC firmware team, focusing on PHY bring up and RF calibrations. You will develop SoC test and calibration capabilities for wafer, module, and system factories, ensuring that the firmware you create meets product requirements. Your responsibilities will include implementing signal processing algorithms and performance tuning to optimize the functionality of wireless products.

You will work closely with product software and manufacturing teams to provide system-level API and firmware functionality, enabling seamless integration of wireless features into Apple’s products. Your collaboration with RF/Radio design, DVT, PHY, and System engineering teams will be essential in driving the success of the wireless silicon development process. You will also be involved in testing and validation efforts to ensure that the firmware meets the rigorous standards set by Apple.
