Who you are

You have a foundational understanding of CPU and SOC architecture and design fundamentals β€” your strengths lie in digital logic design and you are familiar with Verilog and SystemVerilog. You are comfortable developing test-benches and conducting simulations and debugging processes. Your experience with scripting and programming languages such as Unix, Python, C, and C++ is a plus, allowing you to contribute effectively to the prototyping team.

You are eager to learn and grow in a collaborative environment, working closely with design and micro-architecture teams to understand functional and performance goals. You are detail-oriented and capable of managing deliverables to align with project goals, demonstrating your ability to work independently while supporting cross-functional engineering efforts.

What you'll do

As a Silicon Prototyping Engineer at Apple, you will be responsible for reviewing specifications and developing prototyping plans that meet the high standards of Apple’s innovative products. You will work on synthesis, place and route, and timing optimization, ensuring that the custom hardware meets the required specifications. Your role will involve close collaboration with various teams to ensure that the functional and performance goals of the designs are met.

You will be part of a dynamic prototyping team that plays a critical role in delivering high-quality functional products to millions of customers quickly.
