Job Description
Who you are
You have a BS degree and at least 10 years of industry experience in SoC design and integration. Your expertise spans various aspects of SOC design, including integration, synthesis, and low power design. You are familiar with methodologies that enhance synthesis quality of results and have a strong understanding of RTL integration and timing constraints.
You enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams, including SOC Design, SOC Design Verification, and Physical Design. Your knowledge of front-end flows like Lint and Logical Equivalence is a plus, and you are comfortable writing UPFs and verifying power intent at the chip level. You thrive on solving complex challenges and are eager to contribute to innovative projects.
What you'll do
As a Senior SoC Design/Integration & Synthesis Engineer at Apple, you will lead front-end integration activities, ensuring that all components work seamlessly together. You will drive improvements in synthesis quality of results by refining methodologies and implementing best practices. Your role will involve writing UPFs for low power design and verifying power intent at the chip level, ensuring that designs meet performance and efficiency standards.
You will work closely with other engineers to integrate RTL designs, manage timing constraints, and perform synthesis of complex designs. Your contributions will directly impact the quality and performance of Apple's next generation of products. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers and share your knowledge of best practices in SOC design and integration.
