Who you are
You have a strong background in acoustics and engineering, ideally with a BS/MS or equivalent degree specializing in these fields. Your passion for sound quality and customer experience drives you to ensure that Apple products deliver exceptional audio performance. You are detail-oriented and committed to championing safety and efficacy in hearing health features, understanding the importance of regulatory compliance in product development.
You possess experience in executing test cases and specifying automation requirements, which allows you to effectively contribute to the testing and validation of hearing health features. Your analytical skills enable you to conduct acoustic measurements and tuning, ensuring that Apple products meet the highest standards of audio quality. You are comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and deliver impactful results.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering regulatory Software Requirements Specification and conducting objective testing of Apple’s hearing health features. You will determine the test scope and execute prioritized test cases, ensuring that all features meet regulatory standards. Your work will involve specifying automation and tooling requirements, completing tool validation, and compiling reports for regulatory filing.
You will conduct acoustic measurements to support the tuning of hearing health features on future Apple products, directly impacting the design and integration of these features. Your contributions will help millions of users enjoy a better audio experience, reinforcing Apple's commitment to quality and innovation in hearing health technology.
