Who you are
You have a strong background in hardware engineering with experience in modeling power dissipation for complex systems. Your expertise includes working with AI/ML technologies and understanding the intricacies of ASIC design. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to collaborate effectively across teams.
You are passionate about silicon optimization and have a keen interest in power efficiency. Your experience includes establishing voltage-frequency operating points and working with various IPs, including Neural Engines and CPUs. You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy turning innovative ideas into reality.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for modeling power dissipation and power delivery for various IPs within Appleβs SOCs. You will establish voltages for DVFM states and work closely with architecture, design, and validation teams to ensure the accuracy of your models. Your work will directly impact the performance and efficiency of Appleβs leading-edge chips.
You will collaborate with silicon characterization and validation teams to correlate your models with hardware data, ensuring that your power models are accurate and reliable. This role provides an opportunity to contribute to the optimization of state-of-the-art chips that are integral to many Apple products.
