Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree and over 10 years of relevant experience in SOC verification, showcasing your deep understanding of SOC architecture and meticulous attention to detail. Your expertise in hardware verification languages (HVL) and hardware description languages (HDL) such as System Verilog and Verilog sets you apart in the field. You possess advanced knowledge of HVL methodologies like UVM, OVM, and VMM, which you have applied in various projects to enhance verification processes. Your solid verification skills in problem-solving, constrained random testing, and debugging demonstrate your capability to tackle complex challenges effectively. You have a strong understanding of digital logic design, chip architecture, and microarchitecture, allowing you to contribute meaningfully to the design process. As a great teammate, you excel in communication and collaboration, eager to take on diverse challenges within a dedicated team.
What you'll do
As a SOC Verification Engineer at Apple, you will be at the heart of the chip design effort, responsible for pre-silicon RTL verification of both block and top-level SOCs. You will interact with various disciplines to develop reusable testbenches and verification environments, deploying the latest methodologies with a focus on metric-driven verification. Your role will involve collaborating closely with RF/Analog architecture and design teams, as well as Systems/PHY/MAC architecture and design teams, ensuring that all aspects of wireless silicon development are covered. You will be tasked with creating and implementing verification plans that align with project goals, while also mentoring junior engineers and contributing to the overall growth of the team. Your contributions will directly impact the user experience at the product level, as you work on highly energy-efficient designs and new technologies that transform how users interact with Apple products.
