Who you are
You have over 10 years of experience in SOC verification, showcasing your deep understanding of SOC architecture and your meticulous attention to detail. Your expertise in hardware verification languages (HVL) and hardware description languages (HDL) such as System Verilog and Verilog sets you apart in the field. You possess advanced knowledge of HVL methodologies, including UVM, OVM, and VMM, which you have applied in various projects to enhance verification processes.
Your solid verification skills in problem-solving, constrained random testing, and debugging have been honed through years of hands-on experience. You understand the importance of developing reusable verification frameworks and are adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals. Your excellent communication skills enable you to effectively convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, making you a great teammate.
What you'll do
As a SOC Verification Engineer at Apple, you will be at the forefront of the wireless silicon development team, responsible for pre-silicon RTL verification of both block and top-level SOC designs. You will interact with various disciplines, developing reusable testbenches and verification environments that deploy the latest methodologies with metric-driven verification. Your role will involve collaborating closely with RF/Analog architecture, design, and other engineering teams to ensure that the designs meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
You will leverage your expertise in digital logic design and chip architecture to identify potential issues early in the design process, allowing for timely resolutions. Your contributions will be critical in shaping the user experience through innovative wireless technologies. You will also be expected to mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
