Job Description
Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of relevant industry experience, demonstrating expertise in verifying complex digital ASICs with a proven track record of successful silicon tapeouts. Your deep knowledge of ASIC verification flows, particularly with SystemVerilog and UVM, allows you to architect effective verification environments. You thrive at the intersection of digital design and RF/mixed-signal-modeled systems, leading cross-functional collaboration across various teams including Design, RF, PHY, Systems, and Integration.
Your experience includes developing verification strategies for radio-modeled subsystems, enabling robust wireless operation across diverse scenarios and environmental conditions. You possess strong analytical skills and a detail-oriented mindset, ensuring first-time-right silicon success through comprehensive testing methodologies. You are adept at working in a vertically integrated organization and understand the complexities involved in shaping next-gen wireless technology.
What you'll do
As a Wireless Radio Verification Engineer, you will lead the verification of Radio digital controllers and Digital+RF subsystems, ensuring exceptional wireless performance. You will architect verification environments for complex radio control and transceiver paths, including PLLs, DAC/ADC data paths, power management, and co-existence mechanisms. Your role will involve collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to develop sophisticated testbenches and comprehensive scenarios that validate the performance of wireless technologies.
You will be responsible for creating and implementing verification methodologies that enable multi-gigabit wireless technology, connecting millions of Apple products worldwide. Your contributions will directly impact the success of Apple's wireless products, as you ensure that the silicon meets the highest standards of quality and performance. You will also mentor junior engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of verification processes within the team.
