Who you are

You are a highly motivated and strategic Enterprise Account Executive with experience selling into finance teams, particularly in the AP Automation or Spend Management space. You understand the nuances of engaging with finance executives and procurement leaders, and you have a proven track record of acquiring new customers and expanding relationships within existing accounts. You thrive in high-impact roles where your contributions directly influence the success of the organization.

You possess strong territory and strategic account planning skills, enabling you to identify new opportunities and meet or exceed sales quotas. Your ability to prospect effectively and build relationships with key stakeholders is essential for driving adoption of AppZen’s solutions. You are results-oriented and have a keen understanding of the sales cycle, from pipeline creation through to contract signature.

What you'll do

In this role, you will own the full sales cycle, working closely with finance executives and procurement leaders to drive the adoption of AppZen’s autonomous spend-to-pay software. You will be responsible for acquiring new customers and expanding relationships within existing Fortune 1000 accounts, ensuring that you meet and ideally exceed your sales quota. Your success will be achieved through solid territory and strategic account planning, as well as effective prospecting to identify new and additional opportunities.

You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including strategic partners, to ensure that AppZen’s solutions are effectively integrated into existing accounts payable, expense, and card workflows. Your role will involve understanding customer needs and demonstrating how AppZen’s patented artificial intelligence can lead to faster processing times and reduced instances of fraud or wasteful spend. You will be a key player in helping organizations make smarter business decisions based on their unique spend profiles.
