Job Description
Who you are
You are a highly motivated and strategic Enterprise Account Executive with experience selling into finance teams, particularly in the AP Automation or Spend Management space. You have a proven track record of acquiring new customers and expanding relationships within existing accounts, especially within Fortune 1000 companies. Your ability to plan strategically and prospect effectively allows you to identify new opportunities and meet or exceed sales quotas consistently.
You thrive in high-impact roles and understand the importance of owning the full sales cycle—from pipeline creation through contract signature. You are comfortable working with finance executives, procurement leaders, and strategic partners to drive the adoption of innovative solutions. Your experience in the field has equipped you with the skills necessary to navigate complex sales processes and build lasting relationships with key stakeholders.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for acquiring new customers and expanding relationships within existing Fortune 1000 accounts. You will engage in solid territory and strategic account planning, prospecting to identify new and additional opportunities. Your success will be measured by your ability to meet and ideally exceed sales quotas. You will own the full sales cycle, working closely with finance executives and procurement leaders to drive the adoption of AppZen’s solutions. Your role will involve understanding customer needs, presenting tailored solutions, and ensuring a smooth transition from prospect to customer.
You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure that customer feedback is integrated into product development and marketing strategies. Your insights will help shape the future of AppZen’s offerings, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of the market. You will also participate in industry events and networking opportunities to enhance your understanding of market trends and customer needs, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor in the AP Automation and Spend Management space.
