You possess excellent communication skills and can engage in open, public conversations — whether responding to mentions of Asana or participating in relevant discussions, you know how to represent the brand with credibility and clarity. Your ability to analyze social media metrics allows you to turn engagement into measurable marketing outcomes.

You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working alongside content creators and designers — your teamwork skills enable you to shape category conversations about work, AI, collaboration, and productivity effectively. You are proactive in enabling employees and partners to act as trusted voices in the community.

Desirable

Experience with content creation and community management is a plus — you understand the nuances of different platforms and can tailor content accordingly. Familiarity with analytics tools to measure engagement and effectiveness will help you succeed in this role.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead Asana's social engagement strategy, focusing on building a brand that customers know, trust, and love. You will design and execute high-impact engagement moments, including AMA-style conversations that connect audiences with Asana leaders and product experts. Your mission is to ensure that Asana shows up consistently in social conversations, turning engagement into advocacy.

You will actively shape category conversations across priority platforms, including LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, and Reddit. Engaging directly in discussions when Asana is mentioned, you will participate in relevant non-branded conversations to enhance the company's perception in the market. Your role will involve collaborating with the Social Content Lead and a dedicated Content Designer to create compelling content that drives organic growth.

You will also be responsible for scaling advocacy by enabling employees, partners, and community members to act as trusted voices. This includes designing strategies that encourage participation and engagement from various stakeholders. You will analyze social media metrics to assess the effectiveness of your strategies and make data-driven decisions to optimize engagement efforts.
