Who you are
You are a bright and friendly individual with excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn and apply new technology. You have a track record of providing great customer service and are eager to work in a variety of challenging IT environments to quickly build up your IT and communication skills.
You have a background in basic infrastructure fields, such as operating systems, Active Directory, SQL, and IIS, with a preference for experience in Microsoft SharePoint. You are comfortable troubleshooting technical issues and have a strong desire to ensure customer satisfaction in project support and maintenance.
What you'll do
As an Onsite Technical Support Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to implement solutions and troubleshoot technical issues on-site. You will take ownership of project-specific customer technical inquiries and work closely with the Support and R&D teams to provide timely feedback and solutions. Your role will involve performing deep-dive analysis, diagnosis, and troubleshooting during onsite visits, as well as maintaining software applications and infrastructure.
You will also be responsible for infrastructure maintenance, including OS patching and application patching, and will collaborate with onsite support and remote R&D resources to resolve incidents in a timely manner. Additionally, you will communicate and interface with technical personnel from vendors and customers, and write documentation such as maintenance guides and steps to resolve issues.
