Who you are

You are an experienced attorney with a strong background in contract negotiation, particularly within the healthcare sector. You have a proven track record of advising hospitals, large healthcare systems, or physician groups, demonstrating your expertise in navigating complex contracting processes. Your ability to manage vendor and payer-side agreements is essential, as is your understanding of the regulatory landscape affecting healthcare contracts.

You possess a deep understanding of various types of agreements, including Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), Business Associate Agreements (BAAs), Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), and Requests for Proposals (RFPs). Your strategic compliance advice is invaluable to commercial operations, especially regarding market access and pricing issues related to Medicaid and Medicare.

Your experience includes reviewing, drafting, and consulting on a wide range of agreements, such as consulting agreements, supply and distribution agreements, and advisory contracts. You are adept at ensuring that advertising and promotional content complies with statutory and regulatory requirements, providing practical solutions to complex legal challenges.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead and manage the negotiation and execution of external client contracts, focusing on healthcare vendors. You will utilize your expertise in managed care to influence supply chain management and specialty pharma contracting, ensuring that all agreements align with federal and state pricing strategies. Your collaborative approach will be key as you negotiate agreements with wholesalers and work closely with marketing, regulatory, and medical teams.

You will act as a legal advisor, providing guidance on compliance and regulatory matters, and ensuring that all contracts meet the necessary legal standards. Your ability to navigate payer contracting and provider-side environments will be crucial in this position, as you will be involved in payer-facing activities that require a nuanced understanding of the healthcare landscape.
