Databricks is seeking a Contracts Negotiator to support their Healthcare and Life Sciences commercial business. You'll negotiate complex commercial transactions, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. This role requires strong negotiation skills and experience in commercial agreements.

Who you are

You have a strong background in negotiating and drafting commercial agreements, particularly in the healthcare and life sciences sectors. Your experience includes navigating complex contract issues and ensuring compliance with data privacy and information security regulations. You excel in a collaborative environment, working closely with various teams to facilitate revenue-generating transactions while managing legal and commercial risks. You are detail-oriented and take pride in closing strategic, high-impact deals that contribute to the growth of the business.

Desirable

Experience with Master Cloud Services Agreements (MCSAs), Business Associate Agreements (BAAs), and Data Privacy Agreements is a plus. Familiarity with contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools will enhance your ability to manage incoming contracting requests efficiently. You are comfortable working in a hybrid role, balancing in-office expectations with remote work flexibility.

What you'll do

In this role, you will negotiate, draft, and close commercial agreements with healthcare and life sciences customers. You will ensure that all agreements comply with company policies and applicable healthcare regulations. Collaborating with Sales, Finance, Product, and Compliance teams, you will facilitate transactions that drive revenue while managing associated risks. You will support assigned attorneys on complex transactions and assist in driving deal execution for key accounts. Your ability to triage and manage incoming contracting requests will be crucial in maintaining timely responses and efficient processes.
