You are adept at managing pharmacy and nursing licensing activities, analyzing regulatory requirements, and advising on licensing strategies. Your experience includes addressing day-to-day clinical operations issues, such as scope of practice and delegation, while navigating regulatory constraints impacting care delivery models.

You excel at identifying and assessing legal and regulatory risks related to clinical operations, proposing clear and actionable solutions that balance risk with operational needs. You have a proven track record of drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and policies related to clinical operations and professional services, ensuring alignment with applicable licensing and practice-of-medicine requirements. You stay informed about changes in healthcare laws and regulations that affect clinical operations and licensing, translating them into concise guidance for business stakeholders.

What you'll do

In this role, you will serve as the primary legal advisor on clinical operations and healthcare licensing matters in Texas. You will collaborate cross-functionally with clinical, operations, and product teams to support new initiatives, market expansions, and service changes from a legal and licensing perspective. You will coordinate with and effectively manage external counsel on specialized licensing or clinical operations matters, ensuring that advice is tailored to the client's risk profile and operational needs. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and interpreting changes in healthcare laws and regulations, advising on compliance, and providing strategic legal guidance to support the organization's objectives.
