Who you are

You have a strong background in sales engineering, particularly in the technology sector, with a focus on public safety solutions. Your experience includes working closely with clients to understand their needs and effectively communicate how technology can address their challenges. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are skilled at building relationships with diverse stakeholders, from leadership to end-users. You are results-driven and enjoy the challenge of a fast-paced, high-energy work environment.

You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, allowing you to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and engaging manner. Your ability to connect with customers and understand their unique requirements is key to your success in this role. You are also comfortable with travel, as this position requires up to 50% travel to meet with clients and support sales initiatives.

What you'll do

In this role, you will achieve mastery of all Axon technologies and products, enabling you to effectively demonstrate their value to potential clients. You will work closely with the sales team to accelerate sales initiatives, providing technical expertise during the pre-sales process. Your responsibilities will include preparing and delivering compelling presentations, conducting product demonstrations, and addressing technical questions from clients. You will also collaborate with the engineering team to ensure that customer feedback is incorporated into product development.

You will play a crucial role in shaping the customer experience by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions that align with Axon's mission to protect life. Your contributions will directly impact the success of the sales team and the overall growth of the company. You will be expected to stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings to effectively position Axon's products in the market.
