Axon is hiring a Director of Sales for Strategic Accounts to lead a high-performing sales team focused on U.S. State & Local Law Enforcement agencies. This role requires strong leadership and strategic account execution skills.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a proven track record in sales leadership, particularly within complex, multi-stakeholder environments. With 5+ years of experience in sales management, you understand the nuances of strategic account execution and have successfully driven bookings and revenue performance in previous roles. You possess strong people leadership skills, having recruited, onboarded, and developed top sales talent to build high-performing teams. Your ability to connect with diverse perspectives and foster collaboration is key to your success in driving real change within your organization.

Desirable

Experience in the public safety or law enforcement sector is a plus, as is familiarity with technology ecosystems that include hardware and software solutions. You are data-driven and can leverage analytics to inform your sales strategies and decisions. Your communication skills are exceptional, allowing you to articulate complex ideas clearly and effectively to both internal teams and external stakeholders.

What you'll do

As the Director of Sales for Strategic Accounts, you will lead a team of Account Executives focused on Axon's most strategic State & Local Law Enforcement accounts. You will be responsible for driving bookings and revenue performance, ensuring that your team meets and exceeds sales targets. Your role will involve strategic account execution, where you will navigate complex deals involving multiple stakeholders. You will also play a key role in the adoption of Axon's full ecosystem of products, from TASER devices to cloud software solutions. Your leadership will be crucial in developing your team's skills and capabilities, fostering a culture of high performance and accountability.
