You have a strong background in account management, ideally with experience in technical environments — you've successfully managed relationships with key stakeholders and understand the nuances of providing technical guidance to clients. Your ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner sets you apart, allowing you to build trust and rapport with clients. You are proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement and are dedicated to helping clients achieve their business goals.

You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with product and engineering teams to influence feature development based on client feedback — your insights help shape the product roadmap and ensure that client needs are met. You are comfortable navigating technical ecosystems and can provide strategic advice to optimize client operations. Your experience with eCommerce platforms is a plus, as it allows you to understand the challenges and opportunities faced by merchants.

What you'll do

In this role, you will manage a book of business that includes Fortune 500 companies, providing them with proactive technical guidance and consultation — your goal is to help clients maximize their use of the BigCommerce platform. You will serve as the primary technical contact for your clients, addressing any technical inquiries and ensuring that they receive the support they need to succeed. You will collaborate with internal teams to prioritize new features and enhancements based on client feedback, ensuring that the product evolves to meet market demands.

You will also analyze client performance metrics and provide insights to help drive revenue growth — your strategic recommendations will empower clients to make informed decisions about their eCommerce strategies. By developing strong relationships with key accounts, you will act as a trusted advisor, advocating for their needs within the organization. Your role will involve regular check-ins with clients to assess their satisfaction and identify areas for improvement, ensuring that they feel valued and supported throughout their journey with BigCommerce.
