What you'll do
As the Head of Product Marketing for Japan, you will be responsible for launching and growing Square's product suite in the market — this includes developing marketing strategies that align with business objectives and resonate with local customers. You will manage a team of experienced Product Marketing Managers, guiding them in their efforts to champion the voice of the customer and ensure that product offerings meet market needs. You will collaborate closely with product development, sales, and customer success teams to create integrated marketing campaigns that drive awareness and adoption of Square's solutions.
You will analyze market trends and customer feedback to inform product positioning and messaging — your insights will help shape the development of new features and enhancements that cater to the unique needs of Japanese merchants. You will also be responsible for setting key performance indicators (KPIs) for marketing initiatives and tracking their effectiveness to ensure continuous improvement. Your role will involve engaging with external partners and stakeholders to enhance Square's presence in the market and drive strategic collaborations.
