Who you are
You have over 3 years of experience in account sales within the IT industry, particularly with enterprise software products. Your ability to maintain relationships with existing clients while actively pursuing new business opportunities sets you apart. You have a proven track record of engaging with executive-level stakeholders, including CIOs and LOB executives, to advance sales discussions. Understanding the sales process and purchasing cycles is second nature to you, and you thrive on developing strategic sales approaches tailored to customer needs.
You are a data-driven individual who actively utilizes Salesforce for lead management and sales forecasting, ensuring that your sales activities are informed by accurate data. Your approach to sales is characterized by hypothesis-driven thinking, where you continuously test and validate your ideas to optimize outcomes. While experience in selling SaaS products is a plus, your strong communication skills and ability to engage in casual conversations help you build rapport with clients effortlessly.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be a vital member of the sales team in Japan, focusing on understanding customer business challenges and requirements to propose Box's solutions effectively. You will work closely with key stakeholders, including CIOs and IT executives, to build trust and facilitate complex sales processes. Leading long-term projects, you will ensure timely decision-making and responses to client needs while also securing short-term wins to accelerate progress.
You will design and maintain a healthy sales pipeline, contributing to the organization's revenue and profit goals. By deeply understanding each customer's use cases and purchasing processes, you will develop appropriate sales strategies that resonate with their specific needs. Continuous tracking of project progress and risks will be essential, allowing you to respond promptly to any challenges that arise. Your proactive use of Salesforce will drive your sales activities, ensuring that you remain on top of your leads and forecasts.
