You have extensive experience in commercial law, ideally with a focus on technology and content management. You possess strong leadership skills and have successfully managed legal teams in previous roles. Your ability to navigate complex legal landscapes and provide strategic advice is second nature to you. You understand the importance of aligning legal strategies with business objectives and have a proven track record of overseeing contract negotiations and managing legal risks. You are adept at communicating legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders and can build strong relationships across departments. You are committed to fostering a culture of compliance and risk management within the organization.
What you'll do
As the Director of Japan Legal, you will lead the Japan Legal team and be responsible for all commercial legal matters within Box. You will provide strategic legal advice to support business objectives and ensure that the company's operations comply with local laws and regulations. Your role will involve overseeing contract negotiations, managing legal risks, and advising on various commercial agreements. You will collaborate closely with other departments, including sales, operations, and product teams, to ensure that legal considerations are integrated into business strategies.
