You have a strong background in project management, ideally with experience in the public cloud sector. Your passion for Linux and open-source technologies drives your work, and you possess excellent communication skills that enable you to advocate for Canonical's technical assets effectively. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working with diverse teams across different time zones, and you are adept at managing customer relationships with a focus on delivering value.
You understand the intricacies of managing multiple projects simultaneously, especially in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. Your ability to shape Statements of Work (SoW) and similar agreements showcases your strategic thinking and negotiation skills. You are comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels, from software engineers to senior executives, ensuring that everyone is aligned on project goals and timelines.
What you'll do
As a Public Cloud Project Manager at Canonical, you will lead account management for key Tier 1 Enterprise Public Cloud accounts, providing insights and guidance to ensure successful project execution. You will collaborate closely with software engineering teams to align technical capabilities with customer needs, fostering strong relationships that drive project success. Your role will involve shaping project scopes, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
