Who you are

You have a strong background in Linux systems and are skilled in debugging and problem-solving. Your experience allows you to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. You possess critical thinking skills that enable you to tackle complex issues and improve user experiences. Your ability to collaborate with partners and internal teams ensures that Ubuntu runs optimally on various hardware platforms.

You are comfortable working with leading OEMs and ODMs, understanding their needs and translating them into actionable insights. Your communication skills allow you to represent Canonical effectively, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned on project goals. You are passionate about open source software and its impact on the enterprise landscape, and you are eager to contribute to the success of Ubuntu.

What you'll do

As an Ubuntu Enablement Engineer, you will work closely with partners to bring up platforms and debug issues that arise during the integration process. You will prioritize and escalate issues as necessary, ensuring that Ubuntu delivers the best user experience on partner hardware. Your role will involve collaborating with various teams within Canonical to align on strategies and execution plans. You will also be responsible for documenting your findings and sharing knowledge with your colleagues to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
