You have 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, with a strong focus on designing and managing cloud infrastructure. Your expertise in AWS allows you to create secure and scalable systems that meet the demands of a growing user base. You understand the importance of collaboration and have worked closely with application engineers to improve system reliability and performance.

You are proficient in implementing CI/CD pipelines and have experience with infrastructure as code practices. Your knowledge of monitoring and alerting tools ensures that you can maintain high availability and performance across systems. You are also familiar with security best practices and can implement measures to protect sensitive data.

You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy mentoring junior team members. Your strong communication skills enable you to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, fostering a culture of understanding and teamwork.

Desirable

Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes would be a plus. Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible or Terraform can further enhance your contributions to the team.

What you'll do

As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Canto, you will be responsible for designing, securing, and operating AWS-based infrastructure that supports highly available and performant systems. You will collaborate with application engineers to enhance the operational maturity of our systems, ensuring they meet the needs of our 4,000+ customers worldwide.

You will lead initiatives to improve system reliability and performance, implementing best practices in monitoring, alerting, and incident management. Your role will involve optimizing existing infrastructure and exploring new technologies to enhance our capabilities.

You will also be responsible for implementing CI/CD pipelines that streamline our development processes, allowing for faster and more reliable deployments. Your expertise will guide the team in adopting infrastructure as code practices, ensuring that our infrastructure is version-controlled and reproducible.
