Who you are
You are a seasoned Principal Product Designer with a passion for leading design initiatives in complex environments. With a strong background in user experience and design thinking, you thrive in ambiguity and enjoy tackling large problem spaces end to end. Your ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams sets you apart, as you work closely with Product, Engineering, and executive leadership to shape product direction and establish design vision.
You possess a deep understanding of design principles and methodologies, and you are proficient in tools like Figma. Your experience includes designing for enterprise-scale systems, where you have successfully navigated the challenges of creating intuitive and impactful user experiences. You are comfortable working autonomously and are driven by the desire to create solutions that empower users and drive business outcomes.
Desirable
Experience with incentive compensation management or sales performance tools is a plus, as is familiarity with agile methodologies. You are also open to mentoring junior designers and sharing your expertise to elevate the design team's capabilities.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the design efforts for CaptivateIQβs Incentive Compensation Management product line, setting the vision and shaping the product direction. You will collaborate with various teams to solve complex, high-impact problems and ensure that the design aligns with user needs and business goals. Your responsibilities will include conducting user research, creating wireframes and prototypes, and iterating on designs based on feedback and testing.
You will also play a key role in establishing design standards and best practices across the organization, ensuring consistency and quality in all design outputs. By partnering closely with Product and Engineering, you will help translate complex requirements into user-friendly interfaces that enhance the overall user experience. Your work will directly contribute to the success of high-growth companies like Netflix, Figma, and Stripe, as you empower them with the insights needed to drive revenue performance.
