You have a proven track record in sales, particularly within the financial services sector, and understand the unique needs of private equity, private credit, and real estate funds. Your ability to build relationships and trust with clients is paramount, as you will be introducing Carta's innovative Fund Administration platform to potential customers. You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to articulate the value of Carta's offerings effectively. Your experience in managing strategic accounts will enable you to navigate complex sales cycles and engage with high-level stakeholders. You are results-driven and motivated by achieving targets, always looking for ways to improve your approach and deliver exceptional service to clients.

Desirable

Experience in a similar role within a technology or financial services company is a plus. Familiarity with ERP solutions and the private capital markets will give you an edge in understanding the challenges faced by our clients. A background in account management or business development will also be beneficial as you work to expand our client base.

What you'll do

As a Senior Account Executive at Carta, you will be responsible for driving sales of our Fund Administration platform. You will identify and engage potential clients, presenting the unique benefits of our software solutions tailored for private equity and other funds. Your role will involve conducting product demonstrations, responding to client inquiries, and developing proposals that meet their specific needs.

You will collaborate closely with the Fund Administration team to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new clients. This includes coordinating with internal teams to address client requirements and ensuring that our solutions are effectively implemented. You will also be responsible for maintaining relationships with existing clients, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services.

Your success will be measured by your ability to meet and exceed sales targets, contributing to the overall growth of Carta. You will participate in strategic planning sessions to align sales efforts with company goals and market trends. Additionally, you will stay informed about industry developments and competitor offerings to position Carta effectively in the marketplace.
